Stampede bookings allow you to manage the number of online reservations by setting cover limits for different time slots, customised for each day of the week. This is useful for controlling bookings during quieter weekday lunches due to limited staff availability and increasing them over the weekend. To configure this, select "Bookings," choose your venue, and navigate to "Configuration." Adjust the "Daily Covers" by editing each day's settings, adding time ranges and cover limits, and ensuring they are set to active. Days with a green light indicate active configurations, while orange signifies default settings.
Stampede bookings let you set the number of covers you want to accept from online bookings during different time slots, and you can customise this for each day of the week. This feature is handy for managing bookings, especially if you want to limit them during quieter weekday lunches due to staff availability, while allowing more bookings over the weekend.
Select Bookings from the left-hand side and choose your venue.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the bookings page and click on Configuration.
- Next, select times from the top of the page. This will take you to the settings page for various time events for your venue.
- At the bottom of the page, you'll find the Daily Covers section, which lists each day of the week on the right-hand side. Click the edit button to start configuring the day you prefer.
- A popup will appear; click the plus icon at the top to add a time range and cover limit. You can add as many time ranges as you need.
- Be sure to set this as active and then hit save. Note: In the weekday view, days with an orange light are in default mode, while those with a green light are active with your chosen configuration.
