The article explains how staff can make offline bookings for a venue even when it is closed. This is useful for arranging events on days when the venue is not open, such as a Monday. To enable this feature, staff must access the bookings section, select the venue, scroll down to the configuration section, and check the option for allowing offline or private bookings by staff. This setup allows bookings to be made on closed days.
An offline booking allows staff to reserve tables for customers even when the venue is closed for the day. For instance, if you're closed on a Monday, you can still arrange a table for an event taking place on that day.
- Select Bookings from the left-hand side and choose the venue where you want to make an offline booking.
Scroll down to the bottom of the bookings page and click on Configuration.
In the Configuration section under Bookings, check the box for 'Allow offline/private bookings to be made by staff'.
- You can now create a booking on a day when the venue is closed.
