Custom segments enable personalised campaigns using customer data for your venue. To create a segment, navigate to "Marketing" and select "Segments" under "Data". You can either create a segment from scratch or explore segment ideas. For ideas, click "From ideas" to view options and use the calculator icon to estimate contact reach. Add a suitable segment by clicking the plus sign. To build from scratch, use the segment builder to add fields or conditions, such as "Birthday = Tomorrow" or "Collected more than 10 loyalty stamps." Choose "Or/And" conditions to define criteria eligibility, and save your custom segment by clicking "Create & Save".
Custom segments allow you to create personalised campaigns for your venue using customer data.
- Begin by navigating to "Marketing" on the left-hand side. Then, under "Data" in the left column, choose "Segments". This will show you all the segments you've set up.
- Click on the upside-down caret (^) symbol in the top right-hand corner. You will then have the option to create a segment from scratch or to look through segment ideas.
Segment Idea
- After selecting “From ideas”, you'll find a variety of segment ideas available to choose from.
- To see how many contacts you'll reach per segment, click on the calculator icon located just above the plus symbol.
- When you've found the segment that suits your needs, simply click on the plus sign to add it to your segment list.
Build from scratch
- Once you click on “From scratch”, you'll be directed to a segment builder.
- You can add a new field or a new condition. Click on one of these buttons, and by selecting the edit icon to the right, you can change the value.
- A new field could be criteria like “Birthday = Tomorrow” or “Collected more than 10 loyalty stamps”.
- A condition is a fixed option that is either “Or/And”. If the condition is “Or”, it means that any of the fields matching those criteria will qualify for a marketing campaign. If it’s “And”, all criteria must be met for eligibility.
Once you've created your custom segment, click on “Create & Save” at the bottom of your page.
