To set up a guest network using SmartZone, first log in and select the desired AP Zone. Navigate to 'Hotspot WISPr', create a new WISPr portal, and configure the logon and start page URLs to `https://wifi.stampede.ai/{serial}`. Add specific domains to the walled garden. In the 'WLAN' tab, create or select a WLAN, set authentication to WISPr, and choose the newly created WISPr hotspot. Configure the authentication and accounting servers with the provided details, ensuring the use of 'BLACKBX' and 'BLACKBX ACC' for proxy options. If issues arise, manually set up the radius controller with specified server details.
1. Log in to your SmartZone manager and navigate to the ‘Configuration’ ‘AP Zones’ tab. Then select the zone you’d like to operate the guest network on.
2. Next, head to the ‘Hotspot WISPr’ section.
3. Create a new WISPr portal and name it anything you like. Now, set the following details:
Set logon URL to external and set the external portal URL to https://wifi.stampede.ai/{serial}
Start page: "Redirect to the following URL:" http://wifi.stampede.ai/{serial}/landing
(ask a stampede onboarding specialist for your serial, or find this in the hardware section of your wifi set-up)
5. Add the following list of domains to the walled garden section at the bottom:
wifi.stampede.ai
34.249.196.234
52.208.193.150
office.stampede.ai
6. Now, navigate to the ‘WLAN’ tab. Either create a new WLAN or choose the existing one where you’d like to operate the guest network.
7. Copy the settings below, ensuring that authentication type is set to WISPr, authentication method is set to open and encryption method is set to none.
8. choose the WISPr hotspot you just created as the hotspot WISPr portal.
If all goes as expected, you should be able to check ‘use the controller as proxy’ for both the options below. Choose ‘BLACKBX’ for the first one and ‘BLACKBX ACC’ for the second.
If this does not occur, you will need to set them up manually. Below are the details for the radius controller
