Stampede simplifies the creation of branded web forms for data capture, providing unique URLs for embedding on websites, marketing emails, or social media. The platform allows users to create newsletter sign-up forms similar to WiFi data capture fields, with options to add custom questions and tag users for data segmentation. The process involves navigating to the Marketing section, selecting Newsletter sign-up forms, and creating or modifying forms by adding names, brand kits, questions, venues, terms, and optional features like custom button text and tags. Once created, forms have a Standalone URL and Iframe for seamless integration and updates.
The Newsletter sign-up forms work similarly to the WiFi data capture fields, letting you add custom questions and tag users who sign up. This feature helps you segment data for marketing purposes.
- While logged into Stampede, click on Marketing in the navigation menu.
- Scroll down to the website section and select Newsletter sign-up forms.
- You will see all the created web forms. Click on Add Form or Create New Form to get started.
- From here, you can modify the form:
- Give your form a Name.
- Select your Brand Kit.
- Click on Questions to add pre-made items.
- Choose the Venues you'd like these users to be assigned to.
- Add Terms & Conditions: "By signing up, you agree to be contacted with offers and updates from our business. For full details, please visit our privacy policy at [address]." See Data Ownership for more information.
- [Optional] Change the Custom Button Text.
- [Optional] Add a Tag (e.g., Newsletter sign-up).
- [Optional] Send to Inbox - This sends all form responses to your Stampede Inbox.
- Add Custom Questions, which will be generated after you create your form.
- You can set up a Redirection, so that users are taken to another website or page on your site after completing the form.
- Once you're done, click on Create Form.
- This will create the form and unlock the Standalone URL and Iframe. It will also allow you to create custom questions.
7. If you're adding custom questions, make sure to click the green tick to add the new field and then hit save.
You have successfully created your newsletter sign-up form! The Standalone URL will remain the same, so if you make any changes to your form, you won't need to update it in your campaigns, on your website, or on social media!
