In this article, you’ll learn how to manage your email suppression list in Stampede. This is helpful when a customer asks to stop receiving your marketing emails, or if their contact details are invalid. We’ll walk you through how to find the suppression list and how to manually add users to it.
When to Use the Suppression List
- A customer asks to unsubscribe but hasn’t used the link at the bottom of your emails.
- Stampede detects an issue with their contact details or email status.
- They have previously marked your campaign emails as spam.
How to Add a User to the Suppression List
- In the navigation bar, click on "Marketing.
- Navigate to the Email section under Campaigns.
- In the sidebar, click on "Suppressions."
- In the top right, click the pink "+" button to Add a user or customer to the suppression list.
- Enter the email address you want to include.
- Once the email address is added, click the "Suppress User" button.
The user will now be added to your suppression list and will no longer receive marketing campaigns from your business.
