In this article, you will learn how to set up Loyalty Automations in Stampede, allowing you to award points automatically for specific customer interactions such as bookings, Wi-Fi connections, and more.
Step 1: Navigate to the Automations Page
From your Stampede dashboard, go to the Go Live section and select Automations. This is where you’ll find all your available loyalty automations listed and ready to configure
Step 2: Review Your Available Automations
You’ll see a list of loyalty actions already created for you. These may include:
- Booking – reward customers for completing a table booking
- Ordering – reward customers for placing orders (feature coming soon)
- Reviews – reward customers for leaving feedback
- Wi-Fi – reward customers who connect to your venue's Wi-Fi
Each of these will display with a LIVE tag and show the current points set (default is 0).
Step 3: Edit an Automation
To start awarding points, choose one of the automations and click Edit.
For example, to configure Booking Automation:
- Click on the Wi-F row
- This will open the automation editor screen
Step 4: Configure the Settings
Within the editor, you’ll be able to update the following:
- Automation Active
Toggle this on to enable the automation. - Loyalty Points per Interaction
Enter the number of points customers should receive for this action (e.g. 10 points for each booking). - Points Throttle
Set the time delay between interactions to avoid abuse (e.g. if a customer books multiple times in a short window, you can limit how often they earn points). Enter this as a number in minutes.
Once you're done, click Update to save your changes.
Step 5: Repeat for Other Automations
Repeat the process for each automation you’d like to enable Booking, Ordering (feature incoming), Reviews, or Wi-Fi adjusting the points and throttle values as needed.
Step 6: Go Live
Once your automations are configured and activated, Stampede will automatically award loyalty points to customers based on their interactions, no manual work required!
Pro Tip
Keep your points balanced across different actions. For example, you might reward 10 points for a booking, 5 for a Wi-Fi login, and 15 for a review this helps incentivise the behaviours that matter most to your venue.
