In this article, we’ll guide you through how customers can redeem their Stampede Gift Cards, what they’ll see on the purchase page, and a few important things to keep in mind when running gift card promotions.
Once your gift card is live and shared, customers can easily purchase and redeem it through the branded gift card page whether they find it on your website, social media, or in-store signage.
1. What Customers See on the Purchase Page
When a customer clicks on your gift card link or scans the QR code, they’ll land on a dedicated Stampede gift card page with your branding and message. Here's what they'll typically find:
- Your venue’s name and gift card message
A short paragraph describing what the gift card is for and why it's perfect for gifting. - Redemption information
E.g., “Valid across all services” and “No expiry within 12 months of purchase.” - Customer input fields
- First Name
- Surname
- Gift Amount (with default and custom options)
- Preset Amount Buttons
Common options like £10, £20, £30, £50, and £100. - Optional: Custom Amounts
You can enable customers to enter a specific gift card value by turning on the Custom Preset Amounts setting in your Gift Card setup. - Marketing opt-in box
- Submit Button
Once submitted, the buyer receives an email with the gift card attached, which can then be forwarded or printed for gifting.
2.What Happens After You Click “Submit”
After filling in the gift card form and clicking Submit, the customer is taken to a payment summary screen. Here, they’ll be able to:
- Confirm the gift card amount
- Return to the form if they’d like to make any changes
Once they’re happy, they can click Complete Payment to move to the final payment screen.
3.Payment Confirmation
On the payment confirmation screen:
- Customers will enter their card details and complete the transaction.
- As soon as the payment is successful, an email will be sent instantly to the email address provided (e.g.
biancarosemaryschwartz@gmail.com
) with a QR code for redemption.
This QR code must be shown at the venue when using the gift card.

Simply forward the email with the QR code to friends or family so they can redeem it instead.
4.How the Gift Card is Redeemed
- Customer presents the gift card email when paying at your venue – either by showing the digital version or providing the unique QR code.
- Staff redeem the gift card using the Stampede QR code redemption scanner, then the FOH once know its verified will deduct the gift card value from the total bill.
- If the purchase exceeds the gift card value, the customer pays the remaining balance as usual.
🔒 Note: Gift cards are currently valid for one-time use only. They cannot be partially redeemed or reloaded.
