| First Name + Last Name | Collects the customer’s name for personalisation. | Personalise emails (“Hi Sarah”) and build trust in your communications. |
| Phone | Captures guest phone numbers (with automatic country code validation). Useful for SMS marketing through Stampede. | Use if you plan to run SMS campaigns (e.g. last-minute offers, booking reminders). |
| Opt-in | Adds an optional marketing consent field to your data capture form. | Include if your venue prefers explicit opt-in for compliance and transparency. |
| Date of Birth (DoB) | Useful for birthday campaigns and age-based promotions. | Add if you want to send birthday vouchers or run age-restricted promotions. |
| Gender | Captures gender information for personalisation. | Helps if you run gender-specific offers (e.g. spa treatments, gym classes). |
| Country | Collects the guest’s country of origin. | Useful for segmenting locals vs. tourists – tailor offers accordingly. |
| Password | Adds an extra layer of security. Guests must enter the correct password to proceed (⚠ may reduce sign-ups). | Use only if you want Wi-Fi restricted to guests/staff (e.g. hotel guests only). |
| Custom Questions | Create tailored fields such as “Purpose of stay” or “How did you hear about us?”. Supports text, yes/no, dropdown, and multi-select. | Great for segmenting – e.g. “Are you local?” → target locals with repeat-visit offers. |
| Apple Sign-in | Allows iOS users to log in with their Apple ID. | Increases convenience for Apple users, reducing friction at login. |
| SMS Validation | Sends a 6-digit code to confirm the guest’s phone number. | Use if phone accuracy is critical (e.g. SMS bookings or loyalty). |

| Welcome Message | Displays a custom welcome message to guests before login. | Use to greet guests warmly or highlight seasonal offers/events. |
Post-Authentication Options
| Option | Description | Best Practice |
|---|---|---|
| Email Validation | Sends guests a verification email during their visit to confirm their account. | Helps maintain a clean database and reduces fake sign-ups. |
| Landing URL | The page guests are redirected to once they have successfully authenticated. | Send them to your website, booking page, or a special offer instead of a blank page. |
💡 Top Tip: The Best Starting Setup
If you’re not sure where to begin, we recommend using:
Email + First Name + Last Name → to power personalised marketing
Date of Birth (DoB) → for birthday offers and campaigns
Custom Question (e.g. “Are you local?”) → for targeted local vs. tourist promotions
This setup balances guest convenience with valuable data capture to help you grow repeat visits and engagement.
