In this guide, you’ll learn what a Review Page is and why it’s important, how it connects with other Stampede features, the steps to create and publish one, and practical tips for managing feedback and encouraging more positive public reviews.
Why Create a Review Page?
A Review Page in Stampede allows your venue to collect guest feedback in a structured and branded way. It helps you encourage satisfied customers to leave public reviews while capturing less-positive feedback privately for internal follow-up. Each venue can have its own review page, and you can set the star rating threshold that determines whether feedback is sent to public platforms or handled internally. If you use Stampede Bookings, you can also automate review requests to be sent a set period of time after a guest’s visit.
Guests will receive the review email after X amount of time (configured by yourself) they have visited the venue or completed a booking (This feature is only available with Stampede Bookings).
How Review Pages Work With Other Features in Stampede?
Review Pages integrate smoothly with several Stampede features to streamline your feedback process:
Venues
Each venue can have its own Review Page for accurate tracking and reporting.
Email Workflows
You can customise when review-request emails are sent, along with their subject lines, content and design.
Redirect Rules
Define the star threshold that determines where feedback goes. For example, 4 stars and above can redirect guests to Google Reviews, while anything lower is stored internally for private review.
Branding & AI Prompts
Your Brand Kit ensures consistent colours, logos and fonts. You can also add personalised or AI-assisted responses tailored to the rating the guest leaves.
Step 1 – Navigate to Reviews
Head to Reviews from the left-hand navigation bar.
Step 2 – Add a New Review Page
This will open the reviews configuration page which will show any previously created reviews.
By clicking '+ Add Review Page' will begin the process to set up a new review page.
Step 3 – Configure Your Page
In the Page Setup section, give your page a title, such as “Tell us how we did!”. Edit the email content (header, body and footer) to match your tone and decide if the message should send automatically. You can also set how long after a visit the email is triggered.
💡 Tip: Don't wait too long before a visit before sending emails. You want it to be fresh in the customers mind!
Under Review Page Settings, link any external review platforms and define the star threshold for redirects. You can optionally enable “Happy or Not” style feedback widgets if desired. For example, set any reviews that are 4+ stars to be redirected to google reviews
For a fully branded experience, apply your Brand Kit, adjust colours, and customise on-page text. You can also add AI-driven or pre-written responses for each rating level to ensure a consistent tone.
Step 4 – The Power of AI
Stampede’s built-in AI tool can automatically generate professional and friendly responses to guest reviews—saving time and ensuring tone consistency across your venues.
To use it:
Go to the Prompts & Responses section within your Review Page settings.
Choose Enable AI Replies.
Select the tone you’d like Stampede AI to use—for example, “Warm and Friendly”, “Professional and Polite”, or “Apologetic and Empathetic”.
Provide any context or keywords about your venue or brand (for example: “family-friendly restaurant” or “cocktail bar with table service”).
Click Generate Response Examples.
Stampede’s AI will then create tailored sample replies for different rating levels—positive, neutral and negative. You can review and edit each one before saving them as your automated responses.
When a guest leaves a review, the AI selects the appropriate tone and message automatically, helping you respond quickly and consistently without needing to manually write each reply.
You can further fine-tune your responses by adding personalisation tokens (like guest name or booking type) and adjusting message length or formality to match your brand voice.
Step 5 – Publish Your Page
When you’re satisfied with the setup, click Publish in the top-right corner. You can preview the page using the mail icon before making it live.
After publishing, the Reviews section expands with new areas:
Responses – View and reply to reviews directly within Stampede.
Reports – Monitor overall guest sentiment and performance metrics.
Boost Reviews – Access QR codes, shareable links and print assets to help guests easily leave feedback.
To make tracking easier, connect your Google Business Profile, which ensures all public reviews sync automatically with Stampede’s reporting system.
Once published and up and running, from the main menu we can access all of the following:
Responses - View all review responses from Stampede and reply directly to negative reviews
Reports - View collated review responses and obtain your overall Stampede review rating see How Do I View My Review Reports?
Boost Reviews (Bottom Left): Download a review QR code that can be printed for table turners, placemats etc, check the review status and generate the review page link.
