What It Means
Connecting external platforms links your Stampede Review Page to sites such as Google, TripAdvisor, and Facebook Reviews. This lets you guide happy guests to public review platforms while keeping lower-rated feedback private in Stampede.
Once connected, reviews from these platforms can also appear in your Stampede dashboard, allowing you to track performance and respond in one place.
Why It’s Important
Linking your Review Page to external review platforms helps you:
Increase your online visibility by encouraging public reviews.
Centralise guest feedback in one dashboard.
Build consistency by controlling when and where reviews are shared.
-
Save time with automated redirects and AI-powered replies.
Step 1 – Go to Reviews
In your Stampede dashboard, open Reviews and select the Review Page you want to connect.
Step 2 – Connect External Platforms
In Review Page Settings, open the External Review Platforms section.
Here, you can connect one or more accounts:
Google (via your Google Business Profile)
TripAdvisor - Just paste the link to your TripAdvisor profile (this is the link that anyone can find through a Google search).
Facebook Reviews - You will need to authorise the connection. Click on “Authorize”, and it will guide you to log in to your Facebook business account (in a new tab). Once that's done, simply select the correct Account and Page.
Happy or Not - This feature allows users to quickly leave a 1-5 star rating when they reconnect to the WiFi. It's similar to the smiley faces you might encounter at airports asking for feedback on your experience.
Click Connect next to each platform and follow the sign-in prompts to authorise access.
Step 3 – Choose Locations
If you manage multiple venues, select the correct location for each platform before saving your settings.
Step 4 – Set Redirect Rules
Use rating thresholds to decide where guests go:
High ratings (4–5 stars) → redirect to public review sites.
Lower ratings → collect feedback privately within Stampede.
You can link multiple platforms at once; Stampede will show all connected options when you configure the rules.
Step 5 – Test and Confirm
Preview your Review Page or send yourself a test email. Make sure each platform link works correctly and that reviews start syncing into Stampede.
