In this article. you’ll learn how to verify your email sending domain in Stampede by updating your DNS settings. This ensures your marketing emails are authenticated and have the best chance of landing in your customers’ inboxes.
To send marketing emails from your own domain (e.g. you@yourvenue.com), you’ll need to verify your domain in Stampede. This helps improve deliverability, reduces the chance of your emails being marked as spam, and ensures your brand is properly represented in customer inboxes.
The process involves copying and adding specific DNS records (CNAME) to your domain provider, then verifying the setup within Stampede.
How to Verify Your Domain

Navigate to the Marketing Section
From the main navigation menu, click on Marketing, then select Email.

Go to the Domains Tab
Within the Email section, click on Domains from the submenu.

Find Your Domain and View DNS Settings
Locate your domain in the list. If it’s not yet verified, click Public Domain to reveal the records you need to add. If you dont have a domain added, or need to add a new one select "Add Domain" button.

Copy the Provided DNS Records
These typically include CNAME records needed for domain authentication. -
Log in to Your Domain Provider
Access your DNS settings from your provider’s platform (e.g. GoDaddy, 123 Reg, Cloudflare), and add each record exactly as provided by Stampede. -
Return to Stampede and Click ‘Verify Domain’
Once the records are added and saved, return to the Domains page in Stampede and click Verify Domain to complete the process.
Please Note
- DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate, though most update within a few hours.
- Once verified, a green tick will appear next to your domain name.
- You can now start sending marketing emails from your verified domain with improved credibility and deliverability.
