In this article, you'll learn how to set up automated booking reminders in Stampede Bookings.
Reminder emails are sent to customers ahead of their reservation to reduce no-shows and keep communication clear. These emails include booking details, party size, and venue contact info, so guests can reach out if they need to make a change.
1. Go to Bookings
Head to Venues from the left-hand navigation bar, then select Bookings to open the dashboard.
(If you have only one venue, selecting Venues will take you straight to your Bookings.)
2. Open Configuration
Scroll to the bottom of the bookings page and click on Configuration.
From here, you’ll see Reminders listed as the second option in the configuration menu.
3. Configure Booking Reminders
In the Reminders section, you can control when reminder emails are sent to your guests.
- Reminder Emails – Toggle this on to enable reminder emails for bookings
- Reminder – Set the time (in minutes) before the booking when the reminder should be sent
Default: 120 minutes before booking start time
These reminders help guests remember their reservation and give them an easy way to contact you if needed.
4. What the Reminder Email Looks Like
When reminder emails are enabled, your guests will receive a simple, branded message before their booking. This email includes:
- A friendly reminder greeting with the guest’s name
- Booking details: party size, date, and time
- Your venue name and address
- A link to Manage Reservation
- A direct link to open the booking in the browser
Example content:
Hi Sam 👋
This is your booking reminder for 2 people arriving at 13:34 on Sat Apr 12 2025, at Lane7.

This email helps your guests feel prepared and gives them easy access to your venue location and booking options.
Pro Tip:
Reminder emails help reduce no-shows, especially when timed 1 to 2 hours before arrival. Make sure your venue’s contact info is up to date in your Brand Kit so guests know how to reach you quickly.
