When sending emails (marketing content, reviews, etc) there will be times that these will bounce back and fail to be delivered to customers. Bounces can be categorised in two ways:
Hard Bounce:
If a customer or guest signs into the Wifi using a false email or if they have misspelled their email, that it counts as unregistered. Emails will bounce back as there is no inbox to send them to.
Soft Bounce:
Soft bounces occur when the customers email address is correct and valid but communication from Stampede is; rejected by the customers email domain, the inbox is full or there's a communication error occurs.
How to check bounced emails:
Step 1:
On the navigation side bar, select Marketing.
Step 2:
Click on emails to open your campaigns.
Step 3:
Open up the campaign you want to see the engagement for
Step 4:
Once you have opened an active campaign, you will be able to check the engagements from the emails and also check the bounce rate
You will also be able to check the specific emails that bounced by opening up engagements.
The email will be tagged as bounce and will also provide an additional tag stating transient that will allow you to hover your mouse over to get more details about the reason why the email failed to send.
(Example: "User is over quota" = Failed due to full inbox)
