Session Timeout controls how long a guest stays connected before they must log in again. Shorter timeouts are best for fast-turnover venues such as cafés, while longer timeouts work better for hotels and long-stay environments. Recommended ranges are 2–4 hours for short visits, 12–24 hours for restaurants and co-working spaces, and 48 hours or more for long-stay accommodation. If you are unsure which value to use, Stampede recommends a default of 12 hours. Your IT provider applies this setting.
