This guide explains how to configure your Aruba Instant On access points to work with the Stampede captive portal. It walks you through selecting your guest network, enabling the portal option, and entering the required External Web Portal URL, redirect link, allowed domains, and RADIUS details. Once these settings are applied, Aruba will automatically redirect guests to the Stampede login page when they join your Wi-Fi.

Set-up integration on Stampede
- Log into Stampede at product.stampede.ai.

Go to Venues and select the venue you wish to configure.

Scroll down and selected Wi-Fi icon.

Scroll down to Hardware and select hardware in the "Other Vendors" option
- Once you have changed the Vendor type to Unifi, scroll down and select "Create New Controller"
- Once you have selected the a pop up will appear and then ask you to enter:
- The hostname/ External IP address of the Cloud controller/ UDM/ Cloudkey in use.
- The username of the local admin account made
- The password of the local admin account made
- Once you enter those details, under the controller tab, select the new controller, and the site that you are trying to integrate with, then set a timeout. This will timeout whoever connects to the guest network via the captive portal after the timeout period. As soon as you hit save, the API will activate and write over any existing captive portal configuration for the designated site.
Go to Uni-Fi Controller
Simply enable the captive portal on your guest Wi-Fi in the controller. If everything is configured correctly, the settings will automatically be pushed to the hotspot portal and you’ll be ready to go.
