The walled garden is a list of websites and IP addresses your Wi-Fi network must allow before a guest logs in, so the Stampede splash page and device pop-ups can load correctly. It is part of your network’s security settings and must be configured by your IT provider. If any required Stampede domains or device-check URLs are not allowed, the captive portal will fail to appear. Missing walled garden entries are the most common cause of splash page issues.
The walled garden is a list of allowed websites your network must permit before login so the Stampede splash page loads correctly. This can be located within Stampede Wi-fi Hardware area.
The Walled Garden (also called an Allowlist or ACL) is part of your Wi-Fi network’s security settings.
It allows specific websites to load before guests log in. This is essential for the Stampede portal and for device pop-ups to appear.
At minimum, your IT team should allow the following:
wifi.stampede.ai
portal.stampede.ai
signup.stampede.ai
appleid.apple.com
captive.apple.com
clients3.google.com
connectivitycheck.android.com
34.249.196.234
34.248.124.203
If the splash page does not load, missing walled garden entries are the most common cause.
These entries must be added by your IT provider, not Stampede.
