Stampede can check whether the Wi-Fi login page (captive portal) is working, but all network, signal, and hardware issues must be handled by your IT provider.
Stampede’s responsibility begins when a guest reaches the captive portal, not the Wi-Fi network itself.
Stampede can assist with checks related to the portal, including:
Whether the portal is reachable
Whether login attempts reach the Stampede system
Whether a guest record was created
Whether the portal URL is correct
Whether the authentication flow is working correctly
Stampede cannot troubleshoot any network-related issues, such as:
Weak Wi-Fi signal
Slow or unstable internet
Access point placement or mesh dropouts
DHCP configuration problems
VLAN routing issues
Firewall blocks
Controller failures
Power, cabling, or hardware faults
These types of issues must be resolved by your IT provider or network technician.
To provide a smooth guest experience:
Stampede manages the guest-facing login journey.
Your IT provider manages the Wi-Fi network and infrastructure that leads guests to the portal.
