How to Import Custom Voucher Codes

In this article, you’ll learn how to import your own unique voucher codes into Stampede perfect if your till or POS system generates codes for you. This ensures each customer receives a one-time-use voucher, reducing the risk of codes being reused or shared.

 

1. Navigate to the Voucher Section

From the left-hand menu, click on Marketing.

 

Then, under Front of house / Website, select Vouchers.

 

2. Explore the Voucher Dashboard

Once inside the Vouchers Dashboard, you'll see a list of all your voucher campaigns—both active and inactive.

Here, you can:

  1. View voucher names, expiry dates, value, and redemption count.
  2. Edit any existing voucher.
  3. Start creating a new voucher or upload codes to one you’ve already set up.

 

3. Create a New Voucher (if needed)

  1. Click the plus (+) icon in the top-right corner to create a new voucher.
  2. A pop-up window will appear—fill in the following fields:
    • Name – Give your voucher a clear name (e.g. Exclusive POS Vouchers)
    • Description – What this voucher is for
    • Amount – Fixed amount or leave as £0.00 if you're using external codes
    • Expiry Date – Set when the voucher should expire
  3. Click Create to save the voucher.

📝 If you've already created your voucher, simply click its name to open the details and skip to the next step.

 

4. Import Your Custom Codes

  1. In the bottom-left corner of the voucher view, click on Import codes.
  2. A pop-up will appear asking you to upload a CSV file.
  3. Your CSV must:
    • Have a header titled code in the first row
    • Contain all your voucher codes listed beneath that
  4. If you’re unsure how the format should look, click to Download CSV Example and use it as a guide.
  5. Once ready, upload your file and click Upload.

You’ll now see your custom codes added to the voucher.

 

 

5. Add the Voucher to Your Campaign

  1. Head over to the campaign builder to start your marketing email.
  2. When prompted, select the voucher you just imported your codes into.

Now, each customer in your campaign will receive a unique code straight from your imported list.
