We’ll walk you through:
Setting up an Event
Generate a direct booking link to promote across social media, email, or paid campaigns
Events are like special dates and booking types rolled into one, where you can set up paid events (e.g. quiz nights, open mic nights, etc.), and you have all the tools to track capacity, take deposits, and market directly to attendees.
1. Go to Bookings
To set up events, go to Bookings to open the dashboard.
(If you have only one venue, selecting Venues will take you straight to your Bookings.)
1.5. Select Venue
If you have multiple venues, you will need to choose the one you want to configure. Select venues to open the list.
Listed venues will pop up; simply select the one you want to configure.
2. Open Settings
Settings is where all venue settings for bookings can be created and enabled.
Step 3: Open Events
Open the events option to begin to set up your event page.
4. Create Event
Once open, you’ll see a list of all current events you have created. To create a new one, click Create Event.
5. Configure the Event Settings

- Custom Table Selection: Set specific tables that are available for this booking type. (Note: If left blank, all tables will be available)
- Allow Online Amendments: Toggle whether you would allow guests to amend their booking ahead of time. (You can also set a deadline for how long before the booking customers can amend).
- Affects Daily Covers: Toggle whether you will allow the booking to contribute towards your daily cover limit.
- Same Day Bookings: Toggle if you will allow guests to make a booking on the same day.

Assets & Service Hours:
Header & Gallery Images: Upload images related to the event to market towards customers.
Service Hours: Set the time that the event will be running.
That’s it!
You’ve now created and published a single event using Stampede. Guests can book in seconds, you can track attendance, and deposits (if used) help secure commitment.
To confirm that the events are showing, check this in the Design tab and open the booking page. The link for events is in the header image. Customers will be able to locate them here.
All events will be listed here and show all available events that can be booked, and if your event is the same day, this will also be listed.
If you need a link to market on your platforms, you can simply open the event page and copy the link to use.
Real-Life Scenarios: What customers are doing
Hotels are using one-off event bookings to boost revenue and build community. Here’s what you can achieve:
Ticketed Tastings: “Summer Gin Tasting Evening 🍸” — with deposits collected online.
Seasonal Nights: “Valentine’s Wine & Dine 💕” or “Christmas Cocktail Night 🎅”.
Community Events: Quiz nights, comedy, or live music with trackable bookings.
Exclusive Pop-Ups: Chef’s tables, limited menu nights, or rooftop cocktails.
Family Fun: “Afternoon Tea with Santa 🎄” or “Easter Egg Hunt 🐣”.
💡 Example: Walworth Castle Events
They showcase just how powerful events can be when bookings are managed digitally, with clear promotion, easy booking, and a packed calendar.
